Ta Vie: A Journey of Your Life with Asian-Inspired French Cuisine
Ta Vie, meaning “your life” in French and “journey” in Japanese, is a 3-Michelin-starred restaurant that invites you to embark on a culinary adventure across Asia and France. Located on the 2nd floor of The Pottinger Hong Kong, Ta Vie offers a spacious and elegant dining room, a cozy and intimate private room, and a stylish and chic bar.
Ta Vie is led by Chef Hideaki Sato, who has a rich background in both Japanese and French cuisines. He worked at the 3-Michelin-starred Nihonryori Ryugin in Tokyo, and then headed the 2-Michelin-starred Tenku Ryugin in Hong Kong, before opening Ta Vie in 2015². He is also the first chef in Asia to be appointed RSRV Special Culinary Ambassador by the Champagne House of Mumm².
Ta Vie showcases Chef Sato’s creativity and passion, using the finest and freshest seasonal produce from across Asia, and applying refined modern French cooking techniques. The menu features dishes that are both innovative and authentic, such as the homemade pasta with fresh aonori seaweed and sea urchin, the civet braised abalone covered with abalone shell, and the smoked baby pigeon with Longjing tea and chrysanthemum¹. You can also pair your meal with a selection of exquisite wines, cocktails, and spirits, curated by the expert sommelier and mixologist.
Ta Vie is more than just a restaurant. It is a destination that offers you a memorable and personalized experience of Asian-inspired French cuisine in one of the world’s most vibrant cities. Book your table today and discover the Ta Vie difference.
